A great carnaval indeed ! Covers activities for all ages. Its a great spectacle for both those involved and watching. One question about the ‘sardine’ –was it ‘buried’ or ‘burned’ . I followed the parade to San Catalina then whizzed around to the fireworks on Al Canteras beach … did I miss out part of the event ??
BTW the pocket-sized calendar of events was excellent .. but could be made more widely available next year so it is easier to plan what to do, where and when.

Hi Jean. There was a bit of ritual on the beach. People saying their last goodbyes and a bit of a wake. They then put it on a float and set on fire in the water as the fireworks started.
